Wish Upon A Star

tonight, I wished upon a star,

though distanse between us..

very far..

that you had felt from far away,

the thoughts of you I had today..

I asked the star so high above,

that you would feel my heart-felt love..

across the distance; pass the skies,

you'd see the love within my eyes..

I looked up to the star and asked,

that you might know my love will last...

I asked the star if it would mind with it's every twinkle,

you would find another reason to smile and laugh;

to comfort you from all things past,

that in the wind; my voice be heard

across the miles you'd hear my words..

that the stars above might pass along,

singing a sweet romantic song..
